The Art of Fly Tying is only one aspect of Fly Fishing. Not everyone that fly fishes, ties flies but it sure is a great way to pass the time during the long winter months. It's fun, relaxing and their's a special joy that comes when you catch a fish on a fly you tied yourself.

An all time favorite because it's just plain pretty...but it does work. I like to dig this out when I don't know what else to throw or on faster broken waters. It's a great searching pattern.

Body: Peacock Hurl + Red Thread (or floss)
Hackle: Brown
